Touch Green......

Touch God!JAKARTA: 22nd June 2009 -- The Bosco Green Club, one of the many groups in the St John Bosco Parish at Sunter, held its second day trip to a village setting, Depok, a district on the outskirts of Jakarta City. About 150 people ranging from toddlers to the elderly took part in the village experience, which consisted of activities ranging from quizzes and contest to tree planting, milking goats, harvesting vegetables and goading two oxen to plow a rice paddy! The Bosco Green Club, led by ecology-conscious parishioners, strives to inculcate in the young a sense of respect for Mother Nature. On this occasion, close to life forms such as animals, trees, plants, a sense of awe was invoked. As one of the participants put it: to touch green plants it to touch God.
